School life at Manor Primary School starts in our Early Years from the age of 3 where children can attend our Nursery for 3 hours each day. Once your child is ‘school age’ (5th birthday between 1st September and 31st August) they move into our Reception classes.
The children then move through school working in Years 1 and 2, known as Key Stage 1. At the end of Key Stage 1 the children are assessed. They then move through Years 3 to 6, known as Key Stage 2. The children in Year 6 are assessed using SATS. These results are shared with their secondary schools. Some of our parents chose for their child to sit the Grammar School tests and are successful in gaining a place.
